ORBITAL SCIENCES CORPORATION

  • Performed a comprehensive analysis of guidance and navigation data from the first resupply mission of Cygnus
  • Conducted a study to assess and compare the navigation performance of Cygnus against previously run Monte Carlos simulations

NASA MARSHALL SPACE FLIGHT CENTER

  • Successfully developed core Simulink framework and infrastructure for future developers to easily test experimental control algorithms on a quadcopter platform
  • Exceeded original objective and completed work on designing and programming a guidance, navigation and control system for immediate implementation on the quadcopter
  • Participated in writing a proposal to use multirotor aircraft for inspection of the Space Launch System in 2017.

NASA AMES RESEARCH CENTER

  • Designed and conducted experiments on an electrical power system test bed for the purposes of diagnostic algorithm benchmarking in the Diagnostic Algorithm Competition of 2013
  • Testing and post-experiment data analysis were accomplished through the use of LabVIEW, Perl and Matlab scripts
  • Created a 3D model of an experimental rover for use in simulation software
